time flies

They say that time flies as you get older, they aren't joking.  I have really found that time flies once you have a child.  The days might seem long sometimes, but the weeks pass quickly.  My little one turned 6 months old yesterday, it doesn't seem possible.  We had a great day together, I wish I could have stopped time yesterday afternoon.  My sweet boy just wanted to snuggle with his moma.....I wouldn't have traded that for anything in the whole wide world.

Finally Friday!!!

I know Friday is usually everyones favorite day of the week, it's mine too but for an extra special reason. It is the one day of the week that little e and I get to be together...just us. Going back to work after having a baby was the hardest thing, I didn't know how I was going to do it. So my compromise was to go back to work, but do it with less time in the office....I decided to have shorter hours and longer weekends. There is a bit of sacrifice, but I know that I will never regret the choice I made. So...Fridays are the best day of the week! Little e and I get to have our own adventures. Today our exciting adventure included a trip to the teeter for cake mix. It's my sister's birthday Sunday and I'm going to make her cupcakes. She and her husband are coming over tomorrow for dinner and at this point the only thing I know I am making are cupcakes. Better get looking in a few cookbooks for inspiration.

Finally going to do this!

Well after thinking about creating blog forever...i'm finally going to do it.  I can't believe that i'm trying this tonight considering I made my computer at work crash today.  Even with my limited tech abilities i've never done that before!  I'm still laughing about the whole scenario!

I hope this blog will be a great way for me to document how wonderful the simple and most important things in my life are....the basic stuff...the bread and the butter; I mean butler.
